WHY TELEPHONE COACHING?

The Coaching Dynamic offers both face to face Coaching and telephone coaching, in addition to team training.  The benefits of a face to face coaching relationship are fairly apparent, so I thought I’d mention some of the benefits of coaching conducted via the phone.

Telephone coaching is an unusual idea to many people.  How can effective coaching occur over the phone, when there’s no face to face meeting?  Don’t you miss the benefit of seeing a smile, a frown, a movement of the hand and so on?  The straight forward answer is both yes and no.

Perhaps surprisingly, phone coaching is very effective.  Here are a few of the reasons why...

•Phone coaching can offer a huge degree of anonymity.  

•For some people, its possible to open up more over the phone than face to face.

•Often calls from land lines within the UK, lasting under 1 hour are free, and skype calls internationally are free.

•Phone coaching can offer a great degree of time efficiency, you don’t need to travel back and forth to the coach,
so you can fit coaching within your own schedule.

•Phone coaching can be less distracting than face to face coaching - you can concentrate more on your internal
thoughts, feelings and visual memories and reflections.

•Phone coaching means you can still be coached even if you are from overseas so long as you have a good
phone connection.

If you prefer face to face coaching, thats fine, I enjoy both styles of coaching, but you’ll need to travel to Leeds, or factor in an increased fee for my travel costs.
